August 12th & 13th - Benchmark Games in cooperation with Bonita Marie exhibited at the annual Roller Skating Association (RSA) Trade Show in Myrtle Beach, SC. Benchmark featured its Tickets To Prizes self-contained redemption center in order to introduce that concept to the general roller skating center community. BMI prizes were prominently displayed in the Tickets To Prizes as well as other redemption merchandise information from Bonita Marie.
Attending the show was Sales Manager, Richard Long from
Benchmark Games and David Katz, President of Bonita Marie.
Also displayed in the Benchmark booth was the Ticket Station, Slam-A-Winner, Pop It For Gold and Benchmark’s newest and hottest redemption game, Red Hot.
Attendance at the roller skating association trade show was very upbeat and enthusiastic.

AMI digital jukebox network releases ‘Forth’ to bars two week before stores - listening events hosted in 2 selected jukebox locations.
GRAND RAPIDS, MI (August 12, 2008) - In the ‘90s you were hard pressed to find a rock band with a bigger sound than UK’s the Verve. After an 11 year hiatus, the band storms back into public view, via an exciting new album called Forth (Red). AMI Entertainment, leading content provider for more than 11,000 digital jukeboxes, helps celebrate the comeback by making the new album available to bar patrons on August 12, two full weeks before the August 26 street date. There will also be listening events for the album in New York City, and in AMI’s hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan (August 13th).

Bristol, PA – Officers from the Westminster Police Department recently executed four search warrants and seized approximately 50 illegal copies of Merit Entertainment software from various Orange County, CA locations.
Officers searched three residences in Arcadia and Garden Grove, plus an Intelligames, Inc. warehouse in City of Industry, turning up numerous records and components used to manufacture counterfeit Merit products. The warehouse search also led to the seizure of several counterfeit Merit games.
Police teams also raided over 25 cafes and coffee shops in Westminster, Santa Ana, Garden Grove, and Fountain Valley, seizing 50 video game machines containing counterfeit Merit software.
