ASHEVILLE, NC (AP) - A federal grand jury in North Carolina has
indicted 21 people in connection with a video poker investigation
authorities say was headed by two brothers from South Carolina.
Federal authorities say the group ran
video poker machines in 15 western North Carolina counties.

ARLINGTON -- Luck could be running out for businesses illegally
operating video gambling machines in Arlington.
The city has begun investigating 50
businesses that are believed to have video poker machines and the
casino-style slot machines known as eight- liners, which are not
permitted in the city.

Wall Street Journal and Associated Press report on popularity of IT’s newest hit
 (July 3, 2007 – Arlington Heights, IL) The country’s hottest video game, Target Toss Pro: BAGS, is generating huge buzz in the nation’s press as well as in the bars where fans are playing in droves.
The game was first featured in a story that was distributed nationally to the print media and the Internet by the Associated Press on June 19. Under the headline, Backyard Game Goes Digital, the writer described how Incredible Technologies adapted the hottest game in the country – beanbag toss – to video. It reported that the game was sold out through August.
