(15/12/09) This latest two-part feature charts some of the amazing changes and structural shake-ups that took place in the international entertainment scene between August and October. Along with a massive shake-up in the consumer game development scene - that could rival the impacts of the 1983 crash - there were major developments in the public-space sector, with the Retail-Tainment scene heading towards a new horizon with renewed energy. Amongst all this, even the traditional amusement sector has started to change, with the loss of the 61-year-old amusement trade event, as well as the previous distributor and auction infrastructure, pointing the way for the future of public-space entertainment
