For two months that was the first thing out of Tony Urgo's mouth every time he stepped into J.J. Twig's in Wauconda, IL.  A huge Silver Strike Bowling fan, the Richmond, IL native was tired of playing offline on the bar's old SSB machine.  He wanted the best.  He wanted to play online!

"I wanted to take my playing to the next level," Urgo commented.  "Silver Strike Bowler's Club is newer and more competitive because it's online. It's just the best way to play."

So for two months all the owner, manager, bartenders, waitresses and bar patrons heard was Urgo’s refrain of "Where's my game?  Where's my game?  Where's my game?"

So finally J.J. Twigs and their operator A.H. Entertainers quieted Urgo by getting a Silver Strike 2007 Bowler's Club.  A few months later the SSBC July sweepstakes winner is trying to figure out how to get that machine in the back of his new 2007 Chevy Silverado!

Here's the thing - he might not be joking.  To say Urgo is an avid SSB player might be an understatement.  He averages 30 games a day and has 50 friends who play with him "religiously".  So he may just try to get a game in the back of his new fully-loaded jet black V-8 Silverado.  It’s clear that a machine wasn't going to fit in his old Chevy Lumina.

The winning SSBC machine is owned by A.H Entertainers of Rolling Meadows, IL.  Corporate Vice President Chris McSwain and Operations Manager Wally Jasonowicz were on hand when Urgo was presented with the keys and were very excited to have a major winner on one of their machines.

"We couldn't be happier for Tony," commented McSwain.  "We think the Silver Strike Bowler's Club sweepstakes is a great thing that gives players the chance to win some amazing prizes –like this $20,000 truck!  Incredible!"

Denver Player First to Win Twice!

Jerry Chavez is another lover of Silver Strike Bowling.  He’s also’s the luckiest guy in the history of the SSBC sweepstakes.  When Chavez’s name was chosen for the second time in the September 21 sweepstakes (he first won on July 13), he beat the odds of millions and millions to one.

“We were stunned,” said Don Pesceone, IT’s Senior VP of Sales.  “The odds are so enormous that we never would have imagined that someone could win twice.  If I were Jerry I’d go out and buy a lottery ticket tonight!”

Pesceone said that it’s stories like Chavez’s and prizes like the Silverado, the Super Bowl trip and the Harley-Davidson motorcycle that are keeping SSBC’s earnings strong.

“No other product on the market today can boast of bigger prizes,” he said.  “And operators who have a major winner stand out in their marketplace.  When you think about it, the nickel per game that we take to fund this sweepstakes is the best investment operators can make in their routes."
