TouchTunes and Incredible Technologies Partner to Benefit LIVESTRONG Program

it_logo(October 18, 2007 – Arlington Heights, IL)  The recently completed Golden Tee Regional Championships attracted more than 500 players to three live tournament finals, making this year’s event the largest in the game’s long history.  The GTLRC is touchtunes_logotouted as the “ultimate Golden Tee weekend” and players have been nearly universal in their praise for the tournament.

But big prize money and free Golden Tee were not the only highlights of the weekend.  Music – and lots of it – filled each tournament room from open to close each day.  And this music did a lot more than just entertain, it also helped fight cancer – the number-one cause of premature death in the U.S.

Each live regional final featured a special TouchTunes LIVESTRONG jukebox, and players were encouraged to keep the music flowing because 100-per cent of every dollar collected would be donated to the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s LIVESTRONG program.

livestrongtouchtunes “From our standpoint, everyone came away a winner,” said Dan McAllister, Senior VP of Sales at TouchTunes.  “Our company, Incredible Technologies, and the tournament contestants showed their support for cancer patients and survivors while providing interactive digital music for all to enjoy.”

During the three weekends the players contributed $749.00.  Incredible Technologies then matched that amount bringing the total donation to $1,498.00.

“When Dan called and asked if they could participate in this year’s GTLRC, we were thrilled,” said Scott Morrison, VP of Marketing at IT.  “This was a difficult year for the IT family – we lost two co-workers to cancer – so we welcomed the opportunity to partner with TouchTunes to raise funds for LIVESTRONG.  We look forward to working with TouchTunes again in the future.”
