MESA, AZ — Hanover Partners Inc. has acquired Pyramid Technologies, a fast-growing manufacturer of currency validators for vending, amusement and gaming equipment. Hanover principal John Palmer observed that, in view of the present credit environment, the organization is especially pleased by its ability to acquire a rapidly growing business like Pyramid. Pyramid Technologies manufactures the Apex and Trilogy banknote validator lines, as well as the CG5 coin changer. Its note validators and supporting software can accommodate the currencies of 57 nations, at last count, and are used by some 500 original equipment manufacturers and distributors in the U.S. as well as Mexico and Brazil, Russia and Poland, Spain and the Netherlands.
